Pawsome Pooch dog event bounds back to Clarks Village

Clarks Village's wildly paw-pular Pawsome Pooch event is set come bounding back this September.  

The dog-friendly event invites all pooches with their families to the Somerset shopping outlet for the ulti-mutt weekend of canine celebrations.  

Fur-tastic free activities on offer at Clarks Village will include pet photo shoots, pooch pampering, dazzling dog trick displays, have-a-go agility sessions and live paw-trait illustrations –all guaranteed to get tails in a spin. 

Held on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September, Pawsome Pooch's top dog judges will be sniffing out the next CEO – Canine Executive Officer that is – of Clarks Village.  

In its prestigious competition, free professional photo shoots will be offered to dogs attending Pawsome Pooch, with the most adorable 10 going forward to a public vote to unleash the winner. As well as being crowned bone-a-fide 'CEO' and taking the lead on all things dog related at Clarks Village with full wagging rights, the winner will fetch a prize package worth £500 including shopping vouchers. 

The new champion will follow in the paw-prints of last year's Pawsome Pooch winner, Dudley, the three-legged Hungarian Vizsla who has become a fur-miliar face and local pup celebrity at the outlet. In addition, every dog taking part in a photo shoot will be gifted a gorgeous free digital portrait.  

Book a free photo shoot in advance to guarantee a slot by signing up to Clarks Village's free PLUS+ members reward scheme, or turn up on the day for a quick snap session with the event's roaming photographer.  

This is the third Pawsome Pooch event hosted by Clarks Village, which holds the title of the UK's most dog-friendly shopping centre awarded at the DogFriendly Awards. As an outdoor shopping outlet with stunning landscaped gardens and wide, paved walkways, Clarks Village offers plenty of fresh air and outside space for dogs, who are also welcome inside most brands and to dine at selected eateries.
