
Pet nutrition brand, Bella + Duke reports double - digit growth after brand transformation
Bella+Duke, the UK's leading raw pet nutrition company, has marked a transformative year of growth following the successful relaunch of its brand and proposition in November last year. The company has delivered strong momentum across its subscription, retail and international channels, positioning the business for significant scale over the next few years.
Over the past 12 months, Bella+Duke has achieved over 20% year-on-year growth in its subscription customer base, reflecting the success of the rebrand, refined proposition, and expanded product offering. The company now serves over 3.7 million meals per month. Over 60% of new customers are trying a raw diet for the first time, with 86% of existing customers stating they would never go back to their old food*. In the first 7 months of this current financial year, revenue has increased by 17% year-on-year, accelerating growth further in the last quarter to over 20%, underlining the strong performance across all channels.
Retail listings have also grown rapidly, with revenue from retail channels more than doubling year on year. Growth has been driven by strong performance across major pet specialists, the expansion into independent pet retailers and vet practices across the UK, all of which continue to validate the demand for minimally processed, natural pet nutrition in mainstream retail. In addition, Bella+Duke has embarked on its first international expansion, launching in the Netherlands and Belgium, where early consumer response has exceeded expectations.
