CAMBRIDGE'S CHICKENGUARD WINS BARCLAYS AWARD FOR INTERNATIONAL 'EGGS'PANSION
The UK's leading manufacturer of chicken coop doors, ChickenGuard, is nominated for the Barclays Entrepreneur People's Choice Award 2021, which is open to public vote.
· The Cambridge-based company became a regional winner in the Barclays Entrepreneur Awards 2021 'International Expansion of the Year' category.
· The only pet related company in the category, ChickenGuard goes through to the Barclays Entrepreneur Awards 2021 finals later this year.

Based in Fulbourn, Cambridge, the UK's leading automatic chicken coop door manufacturer, ChickenGuard, has just won the regional Barclays Entrepreneur Award for International Expansion of the Year. As a shortlisted entry for the national prize, ChickenGuard has also been entered into the banking group's 'People's Choice Award' category, an award voted for by the public. Voting opened on Wednesday 1 September and close 1 October 2021.

The 'International Expansion of the Year' award goes to high-growth businesses that are growing beyond the UK at pace. This recognition comes after a booming year for ChickenGuard, who continue to distribute internationally to 69 countries, despite the effects of the pandemic. With hundreds of thousands of units on coops all over the world, ChickenGuard also expanded their team in 2021 with the opening of an office on Gibraltar. ChickenGuard goes through to the finals of the International Expansion category later this year along with seven other companies.
